It's Wednesday! Today we have visitors.

Cabin Group
It's the third day for Rowe Scholars. Last night--all cabins--got GOLDEN SLIPPER from the teachers. We also give an award for clean cabins--WHITE broom means their cabin was clean and GOLD broom means that their cabin was magazine perfect for "CABIN BEAUTIFUL". Yesterday the following cabins received WHITE BROOMS: Robins and Cardinals . These cabins received GOLD BROOMS: Raccoons, Squirrels, Chipmunks, badgers. Congratulations Scholars!

Today let me tell you about the one hour lessons. The third grade does the following lessons: Early People, General Insects Study, Birds & Binoculars, Animals (vertebrates), Plot Study and Team Building. The fourth grade does the following lessons: Great Depression, Ant Study, Bird Study, Mammals, Team Building, and Plot Study.

Our visitors today are from the North Shore Board. The new members of the board are visiting for the first time. Normally when they visit, all they get to see are the empty buildings. But this time, the Rowe Scholars are at House In The Wood so they get to see what they work to get the donations
for--the summer camp and the outdoor ed center. What a treat! The North Shore Board runs a very successful fund raiser in Fall called the "Glitter Ball" at the Four Seasons. They are the major supporter of House In The Wood!
