It's Thursday! Our Last Full Day!

It's the fourth day for Rowe Scholars. Last night--all cabins--got GOLDEN SLIPPER from the teachers. We also give an award for clean cabins--WHITE broom means their cabin was clean and GOLD broom means that their cabin was magazine perfect for "CABIN BEAUTIFUL". Yesterday ALL cabins GOLD BROOMS. Congratulations Scholars!

All of our visitors have left. Today let me tell you about the afternoon activities. When scholars finish their after lunch trail lessons and teacher time, they have time with their cabins. First they have afternoon snack, then they have QUIET TIME (a time to chill out in the cabin reading books, letter writing, or games and puzzles), then CAMP CLEANUP (community service as they clean those areas that they used during the day) and lastly, FREE TIME (a wide choice of activities to choose from--basketball, volleyball, soccer, tire swing, dig to China, playground, board games, card games to name a few). The fourth grade will also learn ARCHERY from Alex.

Quiet Time is also when scholars get the mail, e-mail or faxes that have come from the parents up to that morning. Remember that this is the last day for communication from parents--tomorrow they will leave before I get the mail or e-mail.
