More Spring Flowers at House In The Wood

The Dandelion.
We all know the Dandelion--the scourge of the beautiful green lawn. But I have to confess that I have always liked them. They seem so cheery and I have always enjoyed blowing the seed puffs.

White Flower? and Creeping Charlie
Do you know what the white flower is? The purple flower is what my Dad always called "Creeping Charlie"--great ground cover if you want it there as it really does creep over everything. The speckled long leaf is the Trout Lily which I always though was a funny name.
Wild Geranium
This has always been a favorite of mine--a very dainty light purple or pink flower.

AND they will all disappear if the garlic mustard continues to take over our forest!
